Callboard

Terms of Service

These terms form the agreement between you and CHRIS S WOOD LTD for use of Callboard, an online digital show-planning tool. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.

Last updated: 2026-07-13. Governing law: England and Wales.

01The service

Callboard is an online-only digital subscription tool that turns a show description into planning deliverables: stage plots, lighting cues, run-of-show, input lists, posters and hype reels.

It is a creative and communication aid. It is not an engineering, electrical, rigging or structural service, it does not provide certified drawings or safety approvals, and it does not deliver any on-site or live-event execution. There are no physical goods, shipping, installation, repair, diagnostic or advisory (financial, legal or medical) services.

02Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 to use Callboard. Users aged 13–17 must have consent from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

You must provide accurate information and use the service only for lawful purposes.

03Subscriptions and billing

Callboard is subscription only, billed in USD via Stripe. There are no credits, top-up packs or stored balances. Monthly allowances reset each cycle and do not roll over.

Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

04Acceptable use

Your use must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, including the stage-safety and intellectual-property rules. In short: no planning or depiction of real pyrotechnics, open flame, explosives or weapons; no third-party artwork, trademarks or likenesses without rights; no impersonation or false event information.

05Outputs and your responsibility

Outputs are drafts and references generated from your inputs. They may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing every plan, timing, channel and lighting note with your engineer and venue before use.

All power, hanging, load-bearing and working-at-height must be carried out by the venue's qualified technicians under local regulations. Capacity, fire safety, evacuation and licensing are the responsibility of the venue and promoter.

06Intellectual property and licence

You keep ownership of your inputs and uploads and the finished Show Pack outputs you generate, as set out in our Content License. We keep ownership of the Callboard software, brand and templates.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own shows during your subscription.

07Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties that outputs are accurate, complete or fit for a particular show or venue. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on an output that was not independently verified.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Where liability is permitted to be capped, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

08Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. You may close your account at any time; the Refund & Cancellation Policy governs any amounts due.

09Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
